1 huge onion, cut thickly
¼ teaspoon olive oil
¼ teaspoon salt
2 containers cooked chickpeas, flushed and depleted
½ container sunflower seeds
4 tablespoons lemon juice
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons parsley
2 tablespoons water

Coat onion cuts gently with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt.
Spread on flame broil (or preparing sheet if cooking in the broiler) and cook 7-10 minutes; flip and cook around 5 more minutes until softening and starting to caramelize.
