What A Roasted Onion Make It At Home



Appreciate this simple to-make hummus at your next gathering or family assembling. Flame broil or dish the onions for additional flavor to make a top notch plunge for cut veggies, entire wheat pita or on a crisp serving of mixed greens.

1 huge onion, cut thickly

¼ teaspoon olive oil

¼ teaspoon salt

2 containers cooked chickpeas, flushed and depleted

4 tablespoons lemon juice

1 clove garlic

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons parsley

2 tablespoons water

Coat onion cuts gently with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt.

Spread on flame broil (or preparing sheet if cooking in the broiler) and cook 7-10 minutes; flip and cook around 5 more minutes until softening and starting to caramelize.

Join chickpeas, sunflower seeds, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, parsley, salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon water in sustenance processor; puree until smooth.

Add cooked onions and keep on processing until smooth.
